The bank in LA is not the right place for a lake, it would just be annoying having water there. Ok: It doesn't matter, if anet agreed with you, the ridiculous pond would already be in the middle of LA and yet it's not there so they're obviously not listening to the single person who suddenly wants that abomination in the middle of the zone frequently used by other players to socialize. Also if the issue is just "I want to show off my skiff skin!" then I don't care, go show it off in fishing parties, harbor or other relevant locations. Also if you don't care then its fine for me to display my skiff next to the bank where everyone hangs out, just like I already can with my siege turtle which is 10x the presence of a skiff. You're already free to show off your skiff in fishing parties, LA harbor or other relevant locations, so hopefully they will ignore you and not add something that destroys the spot players popularly socialise in. What OP desires in a lobby is not a bad thing actually.. even though it doesn't add any feature or convenience to the game, it has the potential to make a map area look more lively with Players and moving objects... It's actually nice to look at npcs with warclaw roaming around LA ... It'll look more lively if the small water stream from gendarran fields that connects to lion's arch in North actually runs thru (maybe 1 and half skiff width) the city across traders forum and mystic forge and npcs sailing slowly thru the stream and some random flavor text. 4 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

My own (ironclad and irrefutable) opinion is that this would be bad for the game, and that skiffs really should be shown off in the harbor. I am fairly certain that players will congregate around those two npcs. Especially if they are on the same lobster claw. The original buildings can keep their npcs. Less crowding inside the bank would be nice.
