TheQuickFox.3826
First try to remove any add-ons like ArcDPS and see if this solved the issue you experience.

Chaba.5410
I see from your screenshot you had arcdps and also the discord overlay. I assume you've also turned the discord overlay off. I can't tell what your graphics settings are, how you're running the game, what your graphics driver version is, what your hardware is, etc. Give some more details for better help. Make sure your system is stable first. Remove all add-ons, update your drivers, etc. Then check your game graphics settings. Hellion.2360
have exactly the same issue, no addons or discord overlay. also, it asks to repair on game launch and crashes while repairing all the time, crashes on exiting the game and insane FPS drops that freeze the game and resume after 10-15sec. aaaand I tried to uninstall/install + run the windows disk check and repair. nothing helps. (for the hardware I even got a better setup than mentioned without overclocking and using the lowest graphics) Edited March 1 by Hellion.2360

Does your do that too? Be aware that some game config is also kept in %AppData%/Roaming/Guild Wars2 and could also be a potential source of the problem. Repairing usually fixes it but sometimes wiping it works best.

Devun.2947
I get exactly the same error message, since around 10 hours before the Update on Tuesday. At the same time I noticed my game client loading much faster, do you think it might be related to the roll-out of DirectX 11 client?

Yea, since Anet is converting everyone over to DX11 until April and touching all the graphics stuff, it could very well be some game bug. It's still worth it to try the usual fixes for graphics errors. That includes removing addons/overlays, wiping the GW2 cache, the Local.dat information (maybe even the whole folder - save your keybinds somewhere though), updating all Windows and GPU drivers, ensuring graphics driver settings aren't choking it, turning off anti-virus software, mouse/keyboard addons, etc. Whatever is causing your crash, it's triggering the client to initiate a repair even if the repair doesn't fix the problem. My suggestion is to skip the repair since it's just wasting your time. You can also play around with adjusting your in-game graphics settings like turning down shaders, shadows, reflections, etc. and see if isolating something there helps. The error is from Windows basically re-initializing the graphics driver if it does something like take too long to respond (because of a timeout) to a process and that could be because the game asked the driver to sit and chew on something... Arkanon.7068
I had the same problem. I went into my Guild Wars 2 install folder and deleted bin64 and Gw2-64.tmp. So far the error hasn't happened again. Fingers crossed.
Devun.2947
I went into the GW2 graphic options and ticked the box "Enable DX9 Rendering" and restarted the game. It's not ideal but at least it's playable, the client didn't crash since then.

What graphics settings do you use? Because I play WvW primarily where there's a lot to render all the time, I have my settings turned down. I can't say I've had such big graphics problems as it sounds like you guys are getting. I'm on Win11 with DX11. Windowed Fullscreen Frame Limiter: 60 Animation: Medium Antialiasing: FXAA Environment: Low LOD Distance: Low Reflections: None Textures: Low Render Sampling: Native Shadows: None Shaders: Low Postprocessing: None Character Model Limit: High Character Model Quality: Low Best Text Filtering Effect LOD Environment Zone Intensity: Slide to the left.
