I think that any time a team is outnumbered on their home BL that the system should summon however many mist guards are required to even out the numbers.  These guards should step out of the mists next to enemy siege weapons.  They should do extra damage against flame rams now that players require approximately an eternity to destroy them.  Since many players no longer take damage due to one of invulnerability, being immune, or having endless blocks, these mist guards should all have permanent righteous indignation and therefore need to be lured out of capture circles.  They should also revive dead allies as needed, and be able to heavily heal sentries, supervisors, and tower and keep lords.  Any time a nearby player uses stealth the guard will apply revealed and then gain perma-stealth and the ability to one-shot anyone not wearing celestial armor.  This way the fights will be more even and we can all sleep at night knowing that enemy zergs will at least take more that 5 minutes to steamroll over every objective on the map that we have spent the night capturing and defending and escorting dolyaks to.  I don't know why anet hasn't already implemented this, it's got to be a way easier way to balance numbers than alliances.

Sure I would love more pve in my mass PvP....not.

It's not mass PvP though. In fact, 80% of the time there isn't even a mass...

WvW is PvP with PvE.

Nah WvW is PvE with PvP. There are definitely more PvE mobs than players in a map.

Why. What problem are you trying to solve. As in the actual issue. If it's "they've got more players than us at X time" then is this an actual solution or could it be solved with some other method.

At least there was one person who gave the "haha" response.  I thought that I made the scenario sufficiently ludicrous and incorporated enough common complaints to make it obvious that this was not a serious suggestion.
