Downstate

Mech to much dmg. AI hits sometimes with over 7k and that is insane compared to other classes. Maybe time that CmC looks overall on downstates? Some classes has insane worse downstates and others much better (Mistform).

imagine crying about mist form instead of the one and only class that does both damage and prevents it's bleeding with the same button or the one that literally has the pet ressing them if you have down state vs down state unless your hobby is to camp tower gates so you can mist form inside you have way more OP options...

Imagine deflecting from the one that allows you to get through gate portals in downstate, or makes you immune so you get to the back of your zerg for an ez res, thereby making it the most op one of all.

 

IMO all downstates should be normalized, all have the same health, all have the same #1 attack, #2 knockdown, #3 stems bleeding. What class you are should have no bearing on this, it doesn't matter if you have "lower health pools", or "higher health pools", you have skills and traits to make up for that problem while you're alive, that's where the balance is and should always be for the class, not when you're gasping for air.

so you ARE a tower gate camper... must be fun... anyway just fyi if you are immobed you can't move if you mist form because it's not a cleanse while thieves and mesmers can still port and stealth which is a lot safer... imagine having just that one example as an argument and completely ignoring all the other better options like LITERALLY KILLING SOMEONE WHILE HEALING YOURSELF both ignoring the bleeding-out part of downstate and actually doing some pretty nasty damage, in a 1v1 down state fight necro is absolutely unbeatable MAYBE with the exception of warrior... MAYBE...

 

for your second paragraph i completely agree...

Yes I camp towers to pull people out off their walls, pretty fun.

You can immob mesmers and thieves too, stealth is the second useful down state, but still useless when there's no help around, also have no problems with mesmers since I can blink near end of finisher to get them when they appear. With the amount of stability around fear is practically useless, I can count on one hand the amount of times downstate fear has saved me in a fight. Keep deflecting only shows how good it is, just like thieves protecting stealth abuse.

well that was a load of nonsensical sentences... 

 

you camp towers to get inside with mist form when you get killed to... pull people off their walls... interesting statement...

 

you can immob mesmers and thieves too, that doesn't stop them port so again you make no sense with that statement...

 

"stealth is the second useful down state, but still useless when there's no help around" ??? down state is not meant to be able to 1v3 in it, it's a last ditch effort to survive so what exactly are you expecting it to do? no down state will save you if there is nobody else around to save you... even the "one and only most op (kitten btw) down state ability mist form" is not gonna save you if you get downed in the middle of open space... but you love moving the goal posts when it's convenient to you... i would gladly trade mist form for the necro down state abilities any day... I can count on one hand the amount of times mist form has saved me because i don't camp next to my door so it makes it essentially useless except very rare occasions when other people come to res me instead of running from the oncoming forces...

 

but keep living in your dream world where ele is the most OP class in the game and every patch needs to be an ele nerf... meanwhile nobody is playing ele because they get constantly 1shot by random people...

I cry about the engineer downstate skills: pulling your enemy towards you while you are dying? "Finish me off please so I can get to spawn faster. Thanks!"

I like the ideal of more of an "shot timed down state" where you have say 5 sec or less (even if you have hp still in down state) before you go full down unless your being rezed self or rubed. That and maybe only 2 times not the current 3+?.

This would let eles who vaper form (not mist form) into tower have sec to self rez or be rubed. It would also end high dmg and high skill effect when in down state that are unblanaded for wvw and or spvp game types.

Because few even run the useless mech anymore and those that do usually get rolled over by far better meta builds.

Heck in NA I still see many mechs and some run really neat builds that dont get rolled as easily

Most Mechs i see run blink, rocket boots and speed runes. Thats really fun to chase (/s)

Yup, ive trolled around with that...faster than a warclaw too lmao. Had many ppl chase me all across the map then whisper me bm all while me laughing as they are the not so smart ones that chased me that far xD

I will admit, I found the pull useful once. Mind it was only once and it was to pull an enemy off another player that was also down but was getting revived and was about to spiked. I died but they lived. But for the rest of time its exactly as you say lol.
