NPC dialogue extremely quiet in Gyala Delve?

Hello, I am noticing that I can barely hear NPC voices unless I’m right next to them. Rama, Gorrik, Yao, Chul-Moo, etc, and my voice meter is maxed out in sound settings. As soon as they move away their voices fade rapidly.

It’s very frustrating, especially when they’re moving away and I want to hear their dialogue. I’ve never had this experience before, so I assume it’s either a bug or a design change?

I noticed it have to do with surround sound if its on you will have that effect

I can't find a setting for this. Where do you see it?

For OS, speaker icon in system tray.  In-game, in Sound Options, Audio Device.

it could be on your headset aswell.
