Snorkar.9048
I’m having issues with changing attunements since most builds require changing attunements often and I can only put two main elements with keybinds, since changing attunements are needed how do you recomend to keybind attunements to change them fast? I’m mostly playing celestial catalyst
MarzAttakz.9608
Mine are mapped to alt+1-7. 1-4 for attunements, 5 for jade sphere, 6+7 are for other profession mechanics (Ranger & Engi primarily). Using a key modifier will slow down your "rotations" a degree, mostly applicable to a Weaver fresh air burst build. I'm happy to give them up to prevent carpal tunnel. Edit: I also use a Razer Naga mouse so trigger 1-7 with my thumb. Left hand for movement keys, shift, space, alt, ctrl (toggle Action Camera) and utilities on keys Q, E, R, F Edited March 10 by MarzAttakz.9608 Clarity
MrRay.3027
I've always had them 1 through 4 and the rest of abilities on q,e,r,f,v,c,x and and some shift combinations of those I don't really understand how most play with active attack abilities binded to number keys
RaveOnYou.2819
qert for attunements, wasd for movement, 1-5 for skills, xcvbn for utilities, mouse middle for jade sphere. if you want to play good you should better put some about face, stow weapon, look back, nearest ally(to detarget) keybinds to somewhere
Ragnarox.9601
buy a gaming mouse, razer naga or something with 6+ buttons, it will save your life.
Serephen.3420
Maybe I'm an odd one out but I've always had F1 to F4 for attunements and been fine with that. Once you get used to it and all. But some suggestions here could probably provide a faster solution than that.

That being said im pretty sure i tend to use my mouse alot more for movement then the avg gw2 player.

I’m mostly playing celestial catalyst I run the same setup on all games now. Move with the mouse (action cam helps) Q w e r f (t if needed) for the core rotation (exclude w when needed for movement) A s d for strafing and backpedalling 1-8 for CDs/power attacks (or utility abilities in GW2) F1-f8 for defensives (not needed here) Z x c v S+c S+v for things like attunements and heals Mmb auto run A mouse with at least 2 side buttons is helpful. Mb4 for rolls/movement Mb5 for interrupts or weapon swaps S+mb4/5 for other utility like stuns (or in GW2 for the action cam toggle) ~ for mounts (also my number pad for all the mounts in GW2) It might not be the most optimal, but I don't need to move my hand very much, most of the time. This setup always ends up working very well for me, regardless of the potential ability bloat some games have. I always seem to have enough keys to have a comfortable rotation. Stallic.2397
I use a game mouse which which has a trigger button for auto attacks and up to 8 side buttons. Those all range between utilities and weapon skills. For attunements I used letters all close to the standard wasd. So fast for chaining skills. Never used numbers or F keys. Too far away.
SinisterSeven.2781
get a 4+ button mouse. gw2 plays a lot better when you can bind stuff easily to both hands.
Riba.3271
alt+1-4 for attunements alt+q for jade sphere (alt+5 frequently kills your hand) shift+1-3 for utilities mouse 3 and 4 for heal/elite x for stow weapon < for look back For smaller hands I would recommend something else, probably shift+ q, shift +e or something Edited March 16 by Riba.3271
