Hi Anet,

I just got a great idea to have even more fun.

• We want to have a 2v2 & 3v3 mode avialable all the time with the current 5v5 mode.
• We also want a 15v15 mode! A new Arena for 15v15 (not too big arena plz). Example: The team who collects 5 enemy's flags win! Players have to guard the flag and defeat the player that is carrying the flag.
• A new way to PVP: Beatels mount race with awasome sci-fi tracks build with the Asura's technology.
• A Griffion mount race up in the Air with a skill that can knockplayers down from mid air.

They need to do this but give attacks while on the mounts so it plays like Mario Kart.

This is indeed FUN!! I still remember that Cars 2 game i played in PSP console back in the day. We used to get cool weapons while racing and use that weapon to knock enemy off the track or slow them down. Having nitro boost for more speed so we could catch up.. It was hella fun.

 

(lmao, i have a feeling that if Anet actually implants this racing in GW2. GW2 gonna be the 1st MMO to do so correctly and attracting bunch of race lovers in game)💯

If you had a respectful option to choose "no", I could have voted.

I do not want the already small remaining playerbase in sPvP to be diluted over more different sPvP modes.

And your mount race ideas fit better into the "Activities" category, where Keg Brawl, Crab Toss etc. are.

You are seriously not accounting for the amounts of new players who would show up to play this, and old players who have left that would come back to try it.

No, those are half-designed RP things. I'm pretty sure what the OP is talking about here is an actual full blown race mode with attacks to knock each other of course and what not, with rankings/standings, maybe even beta tests during an off season.

That doesn't sound all that much different from Sanctum Sprint, except it's using mounts.

Adding this into game will not effect those who don't want to take part in it. Having this modes & option will provide more enjoyable possibility for other who want to enjoy racing and PVP in a new fun way. We do have somewhat racing into the game made for beetals & griffion but it's not PVP based, no tracks, no ranks but just exp & very small rewards and having this mode will make game more welcoming to new players and old players who loves it. This options will welcome more players in game and who knows, you might take part in the real beatel racing when u get bored and actually grow to love it for how fun it could be.

Ask yourself what we have to loose? Do what we have been doing will only continue to get us the same results.

Honestly this sounds so fun. Especially 2v2 or 3v3.

If people move from Conquest onto other modes, the queue times get even longer and the match quality gets even worse. This will result in even more people "jumping ship" even faster, making the whole situation exponentially worse.

Currently, the matches that have both Bronze players and Platinum players are exceptions. However, with less players and a faster "jump ship" rate than now, those matches may very well become common occurrences.

At this point, the focus should be on slowing down the further decline of sPvP, not hastening it by fragmenting the player base over multiple modes.
