Sustain is Broken

Anet really needs to adjust sustain. 2 Catas or Vindicators, Cele Souldbeast or Ministrel Druids has to much sustain. It is insanly boring to play against them because u can't kill them even when u have a whole grp of dmg dealers. Eles put so much burning on you and spam boons like nothing. This is some ESO gameplay right now and kills the game.

cheezus are you telling me that the healer can heal? god kitten that's some broken kitten kitten!...

while there are some extremely broken and overpowered things that exist in this game (thieves) a healer being able to heal is not one of them at this point... now if they do more dps than a dps, THEN it's worth noting...

Don't complain about it, just avoid or counter. Been like this for ages. Even if Anet cared enough to rebalance it, do you honestly think they have the know-how to do anything but serious damage? Balancing off the Wiki is, and has so far been, a death sentence for the game.

When they work to modify or balance the classes will they have some sort of schedule? We are talking about numbers and coefficients, in the end they will lead you to maximum or minimum numeric values. If something ends up over the top they should notice immediately. and if something has escaped by mistake. This forum will be ready to tell you right away. just imagining how these kinds of updates work.

Self sustain is broken for sure and consequently support is also self sustain so it also is to powerful. I say make all support effects skills hit the caster for only 50% of that effect. So things like stand your grond should only give the gurd 1/2 of the stack of stab or aura healing should only heal for 50% to the tempest.

I am not sure how you fix dodge spam or perma stealthing sustain.

What does DE even do anymore? I used to have a bit of fun with him before the recent changes but it was never that good. Now DE seems worthless. They were rare on EU before, and i almost never see them now.

It's cata and, to a lesser extent, vindi that are just dumb to fight. For catas i just turn the other way and leave rather than play "am i even dealing any damage?".

They have a lot of stealth paired with high long range damage and projectile block. They can constantly reposition themselves and port half the map away if their hp goes down. At least with the standard d/p thief they are required to leap on their smoke field to get stealth, de is just cheese mode, dodge get stealth, then press 1 (endurance regen food is also op on the build). Its low, loooow risk, high reward toxic gameplay in my opinion.

It is one of the worst game design decisions I have ever seen.
