Just give us a single player version of this already. It's long overdue.

If you can't do that for some unfathomable reason, at the very least make all enemies give progress towards filling the bar. And make them give substantially more progress than the few enemies that currently give progress.

No enemies give progress completing events do.

The ones from the events that have you reduce moral of an enemy group give a minuscule amount.

However, the enemies from events that want player to defeat waves of enemies do not give progress.

All of them need to give progress (and significantly more than the minuscule amount from the moral events) to speed up this slog.

The progress resetting by leaving the map already is a failure of a design. It really shouldn't be as slow and tedious as it is now on top of that.
