lagrimabendita.8763
Hello edit: I re-post it because someone has deleted it!I am thinking to come backI only play support/healer roles in this kind of game (WOW, Lineage, Guild Wars 1, ETC.)I am wondering which of the following clases do you think would be the best option to play mainly as support/healer in PVE (ONLY) Raids, event and fractals?Revenant - RenegadeGuaridan - FirebandNecro-ScourgeI am not into in Druid, I have tried it and mmm It is not my cup of tea. Also, in WOW I love my Disic priest (before legion) and also my holy pally playgamePS: Could the guys who has posted a rev and mesemer support build do it again? I didn't save them. Thanks

castlemanic.3198
Hello! That was me!Mesmer Chronomancer mantra support/healing build:http://gw2skills.net/editor/?vhAQNAseRn0nBloh9fCWpBEgiFgjquTP1U9sD+gTz8ASlAARevenant Herald support/healing build:http://gw2skills.net/editor/?vlAQNAsemn3gmNSuQzJRboNlsP0oS4I6UJ4ENskFflxe3hPeNgDagdjPSBSame as before, change what you like to fit your playstyle.Scourge is most like disc priest, renegade is a more offensive style of support, so less healing but more buffing, and firebrand may disappoint. I suggest if you're gonna make a new character to get the elite spec, boost them to level 80, head to HoT areas now, hop on a hero point train to get 250 points and then leave the character until PoF drops when you can unlock the whole spec in one go.Good luck! Nyel.1843
Yeah I was looking for the thread as well because I am interested in the topic. Did a mod delete it because threads like this are forbidden?

I would have thought they would merge it, but...
ZyniX.3589
Elementalist? I have one with minstrel gear that I use for Dragon Stand and it's pretty effective.
rapthorne.7345
Tome focused firebrand could easily support, and scourge can support by supplying damage mitigation by the bucketload
lagrimabendita.8763
In my opinon the friebrand could be a nice support but atm it looks more tank than support (all time block with ageis) I try to play as support with it in the last beta and it was impossible, the manta cone is too small and the tomes spells are ok but I cannot see any big WOW spell! I am healing.
PaxTheGreatOne.9472
Any Auramancer tempest or water elementalist build with healing power can heal pretty effectively. Damage wise you must make decisions if you wasnt to have lower damage (water does low dps) or swap to other attunements as well...Auramancer are superior to water elementalists, stats can be zealot, magi, minstrel and celestial... the 1st 2 more for PvE and the 2nd more for WvWexamples:zealot: http://gw2skills.net/editor/?vFAQFAWnMIC9XiNYCONAcYiFBALIAUAOAut2Ybul4JsFOCA-jxxGQBA4CAMk9HI3DAYSq/UJlfRSHgEVCSKA/mZB-eminstrel bunker: http://gw2skills.net/editor/?vFAQFAWnMIC9XiNYCGOAcYilNAzdv+XPsDPgAQBkoDkBqAA-jhxGQBDZ/hJqEkeq/QQlfk7BA6AAwFAgUA+NzC-eThe bunker does no DPS whatsoever but is pretty impervious to dps and as long as you can heal pretty resistant to conditions due to diamond skin. Auto healing ~950 on the zealot version and 1170 on the minstrel each autoattack.Soothing mist will add a couple of hundred every few seconds in an area around the auramancer. heals, and aura's will add more heals, regen and vigor and if needed the 2 water fields can be blasted for more heals still. The bunker provides some protection as well. in 5 man content You could drop the aura share trait infavor of more powerfull soothing mist in both builds. My auramancers outheal the druids I have, but they cannot provide the same amount of buffs ... lagrimabendita.8763
After the Scourge nerf I am so disappoited. It doesn't look as good as before in PVE. https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/discussion/2703/scourge-specialization-updates-for-the-path-of-fire-launch/p1Maybe I will try the Guardian he has been "reworked" now the mantras has radius effect, lower tomes CD, more healing % of all the healing tome skills, and others buffs.... now it looks very support. What do you think? Scipion.7548
I'm very interested by a guardian healer since the yesterday rework. I'm waiting to see how much the healing tome was buffed.
