Nordicblood.3645
Hey Guys,Where is my lvl 80 character boost? I 'm coming from ESO for obvious reasons and I'm hoping to get into this game. But...I bought the expansions and should have a lvl 80 boost, but I can't find it. It is NOT in my inventory. What to do?Cheers,Nordic

Holykitten.3064
You're welcome.Have fun and use the boost wisely. I would recommend not using it on your first character and level 'the natural way' to get into the games basic mechanics, and go from there. ^^
Orpheal.8263
look in your inventory, at the top spot there is a shared inventory slot, where the level 80 boost should be in place. But personally as a complete new player, I wouldn't suggest you to use that boost directly on your first Character... you won't have much fun with the game, if you run into this game, knowing nearly nothing about the gameplay elements with an already Max level boosted Character. Its better to play the Game normally with your first Character and do the Leveling Progress, while exploring the game and doign the Personal Story ect. to get slowly introduced to everything while you progress in the game.Use these Instant Boosts later for your Secondary Characters, once you have played through the Game and experienced it from the start slowly, without rushing yourself through it... This game isn't like your typical 0815 MMORPG like ESO or WoW, where you will lose out anything or where you won't be able to play with your friends, if you don't play this game actively every day...So just play the game normally and take your time with it, then you will enjoy later this game much more, as when you rush now everythign instantly with a boosted Character, yet not knowing the gameplay mechanics ect., cause of thinking, if you don#t play now with a boosted character, that you will miss out something or so ... thats for GW2 the complete wrong mentalityOh and by the way naturallyWelcome to the GamePS: if it isn't in the Top Spot of the Inventory as a Shared Inventory Item for you, then it can also be, that you bought maybe that Boost from the Gemstore?if that is the case, then you should have received the Boost as an Ingame Mail that has an Arenanet Logo, which you need to open to receive the Boost, cause then is that Boost not part of also an Shared Inventory Slot, but you said you bought the Expansions I I think by buying HoT it is so, that everyone gets as 80 Booster with a Shared Inventory Slot - bought self HoT and have still that 80 Booster in my Inventory as Shared Inventory Item xDOrigin of Elite Specializations a.k.a Sub Classes through the CDI lead by Chris Whiteside

PookieDaWombat.6209
As someone else stated, please don't boost the first guy you make and then try the HoT and other top level content straight out the gates. Even if you consider yourself to be an elite gamer of epic proportions, jumping right into endgame content meant for people that have played the game for 4+ years usually ends in frustration and posts on the forums where most of the answers will be "L2P".Definitely try a class and maybe try a few races with that class to see which you like more (animation wise, etc) and then get them to 80 naturally. Once you think you're familiar with the game mechanics then consider using the boost on another toon, but even then be wary that if its a different class there will be many things that you will have to learn all at once.Either way, enjoy the game and remember to stay out of red circles. Chickenooble.5014
Another use of your level 80 boost is to try a character in PvE content at level 80. When you boost a character to level 80 you're given decent gear and all the skills... so, run around and see if you like it. If you do, refuse the boost (which give you your level 80 boost item back) and create a character with that profession. That way you can keep "trying" end-game professions and only making those that seem interesting at that level of play.
