There is definitely too much clutter with all of the icons, but oh man, it looks so much better on mobile than the old forums. It's actually easier to read on my phone than on my monitor right now.

I liked how the text was the focus in the old forum. Here pictures and all other decoration takes so much room. Also liked how the text I'm meant to read is not 60 or 70% of the screen wideness.

Everything looks too big and messy... I guess if you want to distract people with icons instead of the discussion, good job I guess.

ALSO let's all thumbs up or down or helpful the original post, see how ridiculous we can get with the icon spread.

I think its gonna take some getting used too, but where it shows peoples icons after they've thumbs down or up should be smaller. The little gray icons that represent which person did what (helpful, thumbs down, thumbs up) is hardly noticeable. I bet you there are people here who looked at the icons and didn't even notice them at first glance. Change the color to maybe blue or something.

I agree, which is why I've cut down on the clutter significantly with a custom style sheet, use your plugin of choice.
