Haunt shot bug

Haunt shot, the first skill/autoatack of specter in shadow shroud doesn't change projectile based on thief's main weapon's unique animation. However, necromancer's shroud does change projectiles, as well as every other profession mechanic that has projectiles, including the harbringer shroud that was released in eod.

They literally worked on 2 shrouds at the same time, how come thief's is the only one they forgot to add special projectiles for ?
