Complete "A New Friend" achievement

Hello guys,
one of Special objective in Wizard's Vault is to complete "A New Friend" achievement.
The said achievement is about to raise and unlock your own Skyscale mount. The point is, I have Skyscale for years now, I've unlocked my years ago during Path of Fire. So is it bug or am I missing something?

Was just wondering about this also as I've had the Skyscale for a good long while as well.  I thought maybe I had to find another egg but all the nests are empty and certainly doesn't drop or do anything from killing skyscales

For new players, this collection unlocks the skyscale, for players that have the skyscale unlocked, this achievment rewards you with the new skyscale skin. You can still start it, you just need to find the egg.

Ty did manage to find an egg finally.  Only thing I'm finding now is one of the infusions seems to be bugged

I swear I've looted every nest in the new expansion at this point, and no egg. Maps are fully explored.

The last nest you interact with gives you the egg. Wiki should have all locations by now

Thanks Cynder, I was going mad. Finally found it.

I completed the full acheve but my skyscale bugged. I cant access if from the mount bar. Not even in the new expansion areas. It completely gone off the bar. Only way i can mount it is with the mastery activation skill with a 3min cd.....

i have the skyscale before soto,i found the egg,talked to the npc but no letter received or the skin and the achiev havent completed
anyone got  the same issue?

Same for me... found the egg, spoke to the guy and nothing.. just crickets..... and now i can't find any more eggs.

The collection should be active,check at the achiev page BUT for the skin according on anet's blob spot,we have to do the collection again to get the skin 😂
