Things I would buy at Gemstore ( $$$ )

1. New voices pack for your character race

2. New poses for your character race

3. New hairstyles

I know these things take time and project management, and can't happen overnight, but I would pay money for these 3 things.

What about you guys, what would you like to see in the Gemstore?

A big pink elephant skyscale skin where your ears are flapping as wings. And it could shoot peanuts instead of fireballs through the trunk

On a more serious note, new hairstyles would be a good addition. We got some new when eod came out, but some more options wouldn’t hurt.

If (1.) means every voice line of your character in-game, then that will never happen. Redoing all character voicing of every story chapter is a hell of a (time and money) expensive job. This may also be the main reason why it is less likely we will ever see a new playable race like for example the Tengu or the Skritt.

1) I never go for cosmetics but the Pirate Captian's Outfit looks so good on my Charr in preview, I want it back in rotation!

2) Maybe a bookcase device where all the books you've read account wide could be stored and read at your own time. Think of the bookshelves in Skyrim for instance. I hate to think of all the lore in the books that's been written down and not been read or just skimmed through to advance a story arc. *Snargle Goldclaw's books would certainly be kept in there ;)

Nope, not for all lines in the game. Buying a new voice pack would just change your combat voice and any ramblings you do during inventory/skills usage.

How do we solve the regular voice we use-during story bits? Selecting a Gemstore voice would mute your story-voice during story conversations, etc

Anet loses nothing in that scenario. I mean, I guess from a interpersonal kind of view the voice actors/actresses would fell slighted, but these voice packs would be purchasable with money. So the voice actors/actresses would and should understand that it's nothing against them.

PS. One interesting thing they could do is add a "voice pitch" gemstore item that lets you change the pitch of your regular race's voice, this way you could fine-tune the feel of your character. If not a slider, then they could change the pitch themselves and just sell high, medium high, medium, medium low, and low voice packs of the main voices instead. But I like the first idea better of them introducing a voice pitch tool to the game itself
