Secrets of the Obscure - standard game purchase

I purchased this but the Level-80 Boost occupies the new shared inventory slot.  I don't have any characters under Level 80 to use this for and I can't seem to move it or delete it to use the shared inventory slot.  Any help would be appreciated.

You have to use that lvl 80 boost on a new character if you want to use the free shared inventory slot. And, if your character slot is full, buy one slot. Otherwise just leave it there till you feel the need to have one more toon. Sorry there is no other way to remove that boost. Good luck.

You can use the L80 Boost on a L80 character to open the Shared Inventory Slot.

There is no need to purchase a Character Slot, or to wait.

You are asking him to waste a level 80 boost on a level 80 character? That used to cost 2k gems, no idea how much it is now. The Character slot expansion costs just 800 gems and I believe going forward you will want more toons so buying that slot expansion is not a waste but using that boost on a max level toon is. Anyway it's your choice TC.
