Mystic Clovers & Coins from the WV

Recommended Posts

Follow my train of thought here:
1 Clover costs 60 AA and you can get 20 in the period of 76 days. (you can spend 1200 AA for 20 clovers)
1 Mystic Coin costs 9 AA and you can get 60 in the period of 76 days. 3 Coins + "Obsi Shards + Ectos + Spirt shards" make statistically 1 Clover (you can spend 540 AA for 60 => 20 clovers)
Assuming you don't need many clovers fast (=> more than 20 in the next two and a half months), crafting them from Mystic Coins is way more efficient than going for the direct purchase of Clovers. Considering you need T6 materials for crafting legendary gifts too and you get them from the Mystic Forge crafting as well (when you do not get clovers), is buying the Clovers via the Wizards Vault really worth the premium price?
T5 & T6 crafting bags and obsidian shards are insanely over prized, too when it comes to comparing them with in-game acquisition. (e.g. Trophy Shipments & buying from the Balthy Temple).  Are people actually aware of those huge discrepancies?  Am I over thinking this?

In another thread someone said they gambled 262 times and got 56 clovers tho.

didn't they add a direct purchase of clovers to lyre in the wizard's tower for the average cost of forging them? outside of instanced content rewards (fractals, strike missions etc), it seems to be straight up the most reliable way to get them, even if it costs a bit.

Compared to the statistical chance 3 coins + 3 Obsis + 3 Ecto + 3 spirit shards you pay 2 additional Ectos to Lyhr and you don't get anything back in terms of T5/T6 items on the attempts of not getting a clover. Yes, it is very reliable, but you pay ~ 40s extra compared to the RNG gamble at the mystic forge. It is the same how the limited purchase from Miyani works. The only real discount buy option is the fractal one, which requires you to have 150 fractal relics you don't need otherwise.
