SlothPowah.1072
Title. I encountered this with the Antitoxin relic, but it might apply to all of them. Attempting to drag it to an empty shared inventory slot shows a red highlight. 1 1
AroglDarthu.2396
Did you find a solution? I just had the same issue
Ashantara.8731
Guess ANet forgot to check the box for "Can be placed in Shared Inventory Slot" for Relics. 1
Inculpatus cedo.9234
Items that soulbind or are already soulbound cannot be placed here. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Shared_Inventory_Slot#Notes
Hesione.9412
The OP mentioned that the relic hadn't been soulbind. The point about soulbound is a good, wider point.
Inculpatus cedo.9234
If one checks the API for said relic, one finds it is, indeed, 'soulbind on use'.
Zebulous.2934
So virgin relics can't use shared slots? I assume that the relic description will remind a player if they have slipped it on for a test drive already. I am a bit confused though. Since only one character will ever be able to wear a relic, why would you place it into a shared inventory slot? The bank should work just fine for transfer purposes. Solvar.7953
I've noticed that unbound weapons that become soulbound on use can not be moved to shared slots either (in some cases, I'd use that as an easier way to move an item to another character vs the bank). So it may just be a limitation that any item that becomes soulbound on use can not be in shared inventory slots. No idea why - might be just to avoid some odd bugs or other odd behaviors (if you double clicked a weapon in the shared slot to equip it and had a soulbound weapon equipped, where does that go? Might be considered odd that it ends up in the inventory when the other was in shared inventory), but this seems to be a working as intended.
