Bring back Festival Food

Removing the treats from the Trick or Treats bags in 2022 was a very bad decision and the community didn't really like it at all. This also applies to the missing Wintersday Food. It's a big part what made this festivals feel unique. Yes, I know, Research Notes bla bla .. we don't care. Ain't so much fun without all the extra stuff we had for years.

Please give us back our full festival loot and stop removing it.

Agreed. Also make the recipes for the festival food available from the merchants, rather than being hidden behind RNG...like what happened to the Wintersday food.

Winters day food is not hidden by rng its removed and the only way to get it now is crafting it.

Yes, but the recipes were a random chance reward from Wintersday presents, with no guaranteed means of acquiring them. If they're not going to bring back the food into the gift boxes, the least they can do is make the food recipes directly available from the festival merchants, which they do for every other festival that I am aware of. There was no reason for this sudden inconsistency, just like there was no reason to remove the food in the first place when they can make food items that can't be turned into research notes.

Why not just make them non-researchable and leave them in?  They aren't really the cheapest foods to destroy compared to some of the others, I'd rather use them.

The removal of festival food is one of those things which has Anet doing what is the easiest things to do (just remove an item) and not actually fix the problem.  I can't imagine it would have been very hard for them to make a new non researchable food item that had similar properties as the ones they removed, and replace the items with that.  Or Anet could get over their paranoia about people might turn those items into research notes - with a value of <1s/note, hard to see this as a major issue in the first place.

I second the request. Most festival bags have been devaluated by the food removal.

I'd love food being added back but they haven't even acknowledged it in the slightest so my hopes aren't high.

If there is a recipe that is account bound (and costing some currency at the vendor) ... the finished food item should not drop from bags. (To make the recipe not totally useless and "only for completion".) For food other than that: I do not really need it back in there - since I barely farm festivals. But I also would not be against it.

(Afaik a lot had recipes though. Or wasn't it even all? Then of course: Against it.) They could add other stuff to the bags. New things - to makt it worth getting them (to increase the value for selling them on TP and making it interesting to farm them.)
