Come on, I *AM* an engineer, you know, it should be EASY for me to come up with new and more convenient and NOT IN THE GODDAMED WAY designs for a REQUIRED visual on my character. No ACTUAL Engineer would have made such a clunky mech assistant who stands RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEM at all times.
