WvW is broken after the last patch.

Get a memory error and crash trying to enter any map in wvw since the patch 5 minutes ago.

Case closed, no idea what it was.  Repair failed, restarting computer failed, deleting the GW2 folder and reinstalling the game fixed it.

 

Edit - nevermind, still crashing.

What kind of memory error?  Is there a crash log?

You aren't using arcdps, are you?

Local game data is stored in %AppData%/Guild Wars 2 and %Temp%/gw2cache-*.  Those are some of the things repair attempts to fix.  Deleting the GW2 folder and reinstalling doesn't touch those because it's considered user data.  You may have to clear those manually.

I submitted a ticket for this one, the dev team is currently working on it.  Any computer I log into it happens.  Just 1 character on the account that can't log into wvw.  So, 8 of 9 characters can play no problem, try logging in the mesmer...crash.  I can log other accounts into any of those computers with no trouble, just like the 8 other characters on the account.  Somehow, when wvw shutdown for the last patch and kicked everyone out, it broke the mesmer.  Weird, I know, but it isn't on my end, devs are trying to figure out what happened.
