When is the next balance patch?

As far as I am aware, that hasn't been publicly announced yet, so we have no way of knowing when the next balance changes-for-the-sake-of-changes patch hits.

The next one will probably be the next quarterly update following SOTO's release, so probably next month or as late as December unless there's anything that ANet feels needs to be balanced now.

As I recall, the plan was big content/balance patches quarterly, with smaller balance patches in between to address anything that needs tweaking.

Logically it would be next month since December will be interrupted by holidays so harder to fix any follow-up issues and this month Anet is most surely busy with the WvW systems update they promised before the end of October according to their roadmap (ie going live with WR).

TL;DR probably a big PvE only balance patch end of this month 🙄

Usually there is a balance patch late november/early december. I'd guess a balance patch on the 28th of november this year.

Thought, the halloween patch also tend to come with it's share of balance tweaks.

No guardian in what patch? You mean except for the nerfs to Power of the Virtuous and Unrelenting Criticism on 9/26?

There were nerfs to guardian in the last big patch, they just forgot to include them in the patch notes - I found out through a Snowcrows announcement. They were relatively minor, but on the other hand, guardian didn't benefit from weaponmaster training to the insane degree that some other professions did.
