Alright. Once again I am suggesting for PvP.

Defense:

  • This is fine. No changes at this time please.

Discipline:

  • This is fine. No changes at this time please.

Strength:

Why it needs changes:

Since the rework that removed cooldown reductions, Strength line has been difficult to use in PvP settings because of the nature of the key traits that one would take the traitline for. Namely:

  1. Berserker's power activating only on hit gives players too much time to react to incoming damage,
  2. Brave stride has a CD too large to be practical,
  3. Body Blow is situationally useless,
  4. Reckless Dodge bakes a counterable mechanic into the traitline, which punishes warriors for even taking the trait to begin with, rather than any choices they make with the traitline equipped.

The changes it needs:

  • Brave Stride: CD reduction to 3 seconds in PvP (If the warrior is not bladesworn). Stability granted for 3 seconds. (If the warrior specs bladesworn, this trait functions as it does currently. (2 second stability, 10 second cd))
  • Body Blow: Instead of disables inflicting bleeding and weakness, disables inflict weakness, and striking a disabled foe procs bleeding on them at a rate of 1 stack per strike (bleeding duration remains the same).
  • Berserker's power: Activates on burst use, instead of on burst hit. (If the user specs Berserker, Enter Berserk Mode activates this trait.)
  • Reckless Dodge: Activates on dodge. 10-15% damage modifier for 2 seconds, with strikes made within this time granting might at a rate of 2 might per strike.

Why it needs changes:

Arms doesn't enable any condition builds. Bloodlust is overnerfed for PvP

The changes it needs:

  • Bloodlust: 100% chance on crit. 7 second bleed. 25% duration increase.
  • TBD

Spellbreaker:

  • TBD

Berserker:

Why it needs changes:

While Condi Berserker remains a useful warrior spec due to synergies because of Skull Grinder and Relic of Akeem, Power Berserker is comparatively ineffective and balancing efforts targeting Condi Berserker have largely affected it instead.

The changes it needs:

  • Exit Berserk Mode baseline.
  • Bloody Roar: Entering Berserk Mode grants 10% strike damage (20% if Berserker's power unchanged). Exiting Berserk mode refunds a portion of Berserk's recharge up front (66%) and adrenaline based on time spent in berserk mode (2 strikes per second, up to 20 strikes / 2/3s of a full bar).

Counter: No CD on Brave Stride, 2s Duration. When taken by a bladesworn the current CD is imposed. You'll still run into issues with a 3s CD and Stability is a free fear for necros, and thieves could care less about your stability with Bountiful Theft.

Counter: Make it a strike damage packet. This isn't the condi line, Arms is. Make it a 0.5 scaling strike in PvP/WvW, 0.9 scaling in PvE. Can crit.

That would be too much, 33% chance on crit is the standard. Its the stupidly low duration that is the issue. Its a kitten bleed not a burn stack, this should be 3s matching the PvE duration. Ditto for the duration increase. Basically there is 0 reason for this minor trait to have been split between game modes in the first place. The PvE version isn't even that strong.

Pretty sure that is Anet's stance as well... Snark aside it would be very easy to turn it into a boon spec.

  • Dispelling Force grants ripped boons in an AoE at set durations.
  • Guard Counter grants Protection in an AoE
  • Revenge Counter grants Resistance in an AoE
  • Each Meditation grants their effects in an AoE.
  • Slow Counter Grants Alacrity in an AoE. Bladesworn now no longer grants alacrity with Daring Dragon.

Yes. I would also make Berserk count as a T3 burst, regardless if it has an attack or not. Let it clear condis, grant pulsing regen, stability/quickness, and strike damage increases for using it. If not then stop making it require adrenaline.

Thank for feedback. ❤️ will review, eventually this goes into an omnibus perhaps

I'd refrain from using that term. The last Omnibus went nowhere.

I disagree that 100% chance on crit is too much, given the multistrike capabilities of war is very very low. the only multistrike  attacks we have are whirling axe,HB and combustive shot/fire field ticks. a % of a chance to roll for the chance for a single bleed proc seems extremely restrictive.

Fair, but do keep in mind that condi on crit is pretty standard 33% on crit across the board. If we're concerned about the lack of multi hit effects, then make it a longer duration or multiple stacks at a short duration.

The Necro version of this trait is 33% on crit and has a 1s duration in PvP/WvW. Sharpened Edges for Ranger is the same. TBF I think the 1s duration on a bleed is way to short in all these cases.
