Free server transfer with expansion pack still a thing?

This is hard to find a clear answer on , so I figured I'd start a thread. Getting back into the game with a friend who is trying for the first time - my original server is full, so she's on Yak's End. I'd like to move my account to join them and saw that in the past, the expansion would give you a free transfer.  I already have Path of Fire and Heart of Thorns. If I buy one of the new expansions, will I get a free transfer to join my friend on Yak's End?

you still need use gems to transfer they took free transfer away while back, cost will depend on what the server level is information is below:

No it would never give you free transfer with any expansion.

If you had the game at release it was free to transfer for afew months.

After free to play for introduced any NEW account since they did not get to chose a server got a free server transfer when they upgraded to the paid game.

And if you are not planing to play WvW together you dont need to transfer world anyway since that is the only place it matters until we get the alliances out of beta stage.
