Condi cata didn't have super speed, and the triat+signets allowed any noob to sit in firestance and pay no attention to other attunents or jade combos. They were litterally spamming auto attacks and fire signet = easy clense if you knew when (just like knowing when to dodge). It desrved to get nerfed simply on the princible of how kitten friendly the damage was, just like zerker.

 

All of the bs condi builds atm have one thing in common, the easy application of multiple condi types+confusion. Akeem is just a cherry. Condi zerker is a horrible concept, just like specter, and any other spec of that nature. Despite the recent history of ele condi, it is the most balanced mechanics wise, becuase it can be manedged with clenses from most specs. It was stability spam from signets that made condi cata rediculous, not the condi itself. Alot of current condi specs need to be knocked down a few, in how many condi types they apply so easily. Its like the condi virsion of power creep.

The Problem with condi cata was, that it Had perma Stab and could give you 8 burn Witz pure Auto Attack, that ist Not even close to compare
