ShatteredStars.6548 Posted October 27, 2023 Posted October 27, 2023 (edited) Why is it allowed for someone to use a TT6-B Devourer in wvw to take down a wall, i'm not sure if its a tonic, transformation or what, but i literally watched a player use it to take down a smc wall, it shouldn't be allowed in wvw, period. It’s a tactic from a tactivator and is in fact a wvw thing. 1

It's damage is in line with a catapult set on a wall but requires a lot more shots since its something like every 2-3 shots is 1% damage. A lot of people don't use the tactic, but its a good upgrade for mobile siege and the duration is in a good place. People creating mobile builds can catch and take it down.

Last time I met one (many months ago, not exactly common) I couldn’t even catch it with speed runes and rocket boots… and we where like 5 trying to.

Range and speed help. Have caught and been caught often enough. It's not a I win tactic but has its place in game play. Also why I could see Siege Turtle added to camps if camps were given back T2 & T3 status. It would both add more reasons to hold and more to attack camps ranking up that would also then create more open field fights to prevent these conditions from triggering and allowing more mobile siege platforms if a side didn't block this from occuring.
