arazoth.7290 Posted October 28 Share Posted October 28 (edited) The new mechanic idea is 100% fine, but needs small tweaking. energy meld cd needs to be base 20 seconds cd without selecting traits yes. • Reaver's curse will be needing a buff if it works on X baseline cd + 20% reduction second cd=> ° Death drop :It should affect the entire dodge trait if used, the damage increase aswell. °Imperial Impact: higher might, protection and boon increase duration on useage. °Saint's Shield higher heal, barrier and outgoing heal affected aswell. Reaver's curse effect should affect should keep lingering for 6 seconds! This way if you use other dodges the effect doesn't reset during 6 second cd uptime. This helps better for the temporary boost playstyle they intended for energy meld. • Angsiyan's Trust: Energy meld, add a 6 second long 1 energy pip increase on useage. This helps the energy regain playstyle they are trying with this. •Song Of Aboreum: Pvp boon duration is fine. And they should increase accordingly the vigor boon duration in WvW/pve for enough uptime as support playstyle. If it isn't already done. =====> I have been thinking how to increase vigor shareable uptime. Since dodges gave smaller increments of more appliance in amount on vigor. ==> The instant 25-35 endurance you get/share is still instant. But the vigor boon gets applied by pulsing/second over 8 seconds for example. This way it gets shared more overtime and not in 1 cd on 30 second... Before we could have an on-demand vigor whenever we'd dodge, and now we'll have a 30s CD ability that also costs 10 energy and has a cast time. I can't speak for other modes, but in wvw this is basically creating a problem where there was none and then selling us the solution that's still inferior to what we used to have. Idk about removing 0,5 second cast time is that much of a problem. It is pretty short and with probably quickness boon in WvW too, even shorter. If it would still stay 30 seconds, it should be around 15 seconds pulsating.
