So the Na mat was wintraded...

Apparently the "team usa" team couldnt accept in finals because they were seen in matches they almost lost hacking for the win, so another team won(no suprise).

according to them there were GMs directly watching the match, but now the "banned player" is back in game.

can we have some transparency for what happened?

Would be nice if you could see exactly what players/accounts were on every team in tournaments. Most people (anet included) never watch tournaments and will never know to what extent wintrading and hacking actually happens. But honestly, the fact that anet doesnt even record tournaments just shows how pointless the whole scene is. Its just a bunch of groupies who want the tourny gold and want to show off their gizmos and titles to people who dont know any better.

That actually has nothing to do with it.

It's a big project to sell e-items/titles/boosted accounts/maintain stream views through false clout.

The whole thing is about propagating USD, is what it is.

Can we get some more discussion up in here about how the things I warn this community about are all unfounded conspiracy theories?

I'd love to see what the anti-propaganda blanket statement alts have to say about this one.

Speaking of conspiracy theories- the last months winner statues are still up in the mist on NA.

Did this anet dev that supposedly banned them- actually strike some kindof deal with them

ie have them lose that mat in exchange for lifting the ban and keep the statues up???

Seems like there is reputation damage control going on.

When I watched Vallun's stream when it happened, a bunch of players who were in-match that night came in to vouch that he was hacking and that he did not notice a game dev who had entered spectate and was watching him while he did it. They vouched that he was banned for hacks, which seemed quite convincing.

But now the story is changing.

Typical damage control of facts couple days into the controversy.

The truth is that you can go watch Vallun's stream and see the VOD chat unfold in real time before all this cover up stuff began, and several players who were in matches that night come into that VOD chat and vouch that he was hacking and that he was dumb for not noticing the game dev who had entered the match in spectate that saw him hacking.

A couple of people posted in the VOD chat who claimed confirmation that he was banned. I find it very strange that all of a sudden this story is changing.

It is what it is. God bless the Guild Wars 2 community.

~ Cheers to ****ty dirty game play boys!

I believe both stories tbh.

I can just see their moms noticing that they didn’t come out of the basement for their hot pockets and going down there cuz they were worried.

she over heard “they caught us hacking”, so she pulled the plug and then brought him his hot pocket and pimple cream.

end of dramatization…
