Kal Durak.2830
Jade bot doesn't work in WvW. Was this announced when EoD was released? I must have missed it. So essentially it is useless to the Guild Wars going on in WvW. cheers Edited November 1 by Kal Durak.2830 9
DanAlcedo.3281
It does work as intended. The loot Moduls work on player kill. Edited November 1 by DanAlcedo.3281 3 1
Farohna.6247
It was explained upon release that most features won't work in WvW or PvP. Not very cool to have a jade bot rez or speed increase for mounts. 1 1

HP in WvW have always been different from PvE and skills that change or make use of HP have been different from PvE. The amount of Barrier is based on HP and Jade Bot core with max incease of HP would add too much HP+Barrier in that game mode. PvP have its own template for how high HP any player can get, so to avoid adding higher HP for player that make use of Jade Bot cores ArenaNet had to disable increase if HP, Gliding, time to rez and mount. Jade bot's only active feature is from kills and turning Junk items into Karma as that wont have any impact on those game modes game play. 1 1

Maybe they’re referring to that. 1

I don't jade bots should be a thing in WvW for the reasons you mentioned. Not cool meaning it would be not good to have potential advantages based upon access to something that is exclusive to EoD. I was very happy when they said it would not be a factor in those game modes. I prefer it to stay as it is, and primarily in PvE.

Quench.7091
Masteries get disabled in WvW, with rank abilities getting enabled. This is actually quite normal. What is abnormal is that an exception was made for the jade bot recycler and scavanger upgrades. Usually they make us spend additional rank points to get benefits similar to what is found inside of the mastery system. That's because the features that still work are those that do not have any impact on WvW gameplay. Those that might have such an impact are either accessible through WvW rank ability system, or disabled entirely. 1

I am used to the game explaining things to users. I changed my Jade bot to use might trophies, thanks all. I do have one other thing, I could have sworn I have seen some small roamer groups with the offensive and defensive buffs from Cantha. how do they do that?
