free glider skins

are there any free glider skins except ad infinit? I still have default skin and I dont have a plan to do ad infinite right now, I am doing other legendary right now

There is a wintersday skin tied to a mini and a quest. It starts with acquiring the angry chest. I got mine free through an Anet giveaway.

Since you mentioned the PvE legendary, don't forget the PvP and WvW ones...The Ascension and Warbringer are free-ish, too.

The short answer is the only free gliders are the three legendary backpacks: Ad Infinitum (Fractals), Warbringer (WvW) and The Ascension (PvP).

The long answer is it depends on how you define free, because there are some 'work arounds' that can allow you to get a glider without paying real money. Technically any glider skin in the gem store can be obtained by converting gold to gems. There's also things like saving up black lion statuettes from free keys, birthday gifts etc. and using them to purchase a glider which was originally released in black lion chests, and occasionally gliders can be included in free promotions.

Hopefully they might add something in the Wizard's Vault, much like the weapon skins, or a voucher for the oldest gliders.  Or save up the gold and convert to gems.

You can go to black lion exchange specialist for a free gilder skin if you have these travel toys e.g bloodstone ascender, electromagnetic ascender, magic carpet or riding broom.

statuettes are basically free if u farm the two or so easy BL keys every week.

Important point if anyone is planning to farm statuettes to get one: check which gliders are available first. It's not all of them and it's not the ones which have been sold in the gem store. It's only ones which were originally exclusive to black lion chests. You can see the full selection of items either by double clicking the statuettes (even if you don't have enough to buy something) or by talking to the Black Lion Chest Merchants near the Trading Post.

(Similarly glider vouchers only offer skins that were in the gem store and don't include ones from Black Lion Chests or other sources or the newest ones.)
