WvW and role playing

I don't mean role playing in WvW. Because that just takes away precious map space.

My question: what is the common stance on RPing as a mist warrior? Someone who goes into WvW and comes back with all the trauma associated with it?

I know of several people that play characters that spent time in the Mist Wars, myself included! It's a pretty accepted thing by now in my opinion, but there was also recently an interview with some of Anet's lore team and the question of WvW actually came up!
