Game goes to black screen then crashes after updating with "Through the Veil" update today

Have not been able to get in game today since updating with the new update 4 hours ago.  Anyone else experiencing this issue where once starting the game, a black screen comes up, then just closes the game?  Have never had any problems with GW2 until today.

Same.  Tried it after it updated and the screen was blank.  The 2nd time I got to the main screen to choose a character and upon selecting one, it crashed.

Not sure what their new patch has done for the bug fixes, but it went straight to repair client

I'm getting an error message that I can't run GW2 on my PC. Had NO problems prior to, I would assume, the most recent build.

Turns out it was operator error and not anything pear-shaped about the game itself.
