THE PVP HAS BECOME BORING, CC CC CC, BAD UPDATES, WHY ARENA NET? THE GAME IS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE FUN

The worst balance we have seen, I don't understand the logic of arena net, I always try to think why they do things the way they do them and I can't make any sense of them, a game is supposed to be fun, right? That's what pvp is supposed to aspire to, no matter if it's abandoned or not by the developers, at least before abandoning it, make it at least playable and fun, how do you want me to have fun if the warrior with the hammer is a cc party with a very strong damage and an absurd survival, not to mention the spammers of 1 junkyard and now with the relics the damage is already absurd making the games become absurdly boring, at least it is my opinion I have been playing this game for a long time and it is the first time I see that pvp is to hit 1 hit, they stun me for 3 seconds, dodge and I'm stunned again, I hit one more hit and then another cc and that's how all the teamfights or group fights are, it doesn't make sense knowing that the new expas every time they bring more cc in their weapons they should not have thought about that because the problem is not that one puts cc in you, it is that the problem is that currently everyone is trying to put between 2 to 4 cc PER CHARACTER, imagine how boring it is that you can't even play, CC is not supposed to interrupt important skills like healing, etc. Now it is used for everything and the funniest thing is that it works and the problem with that is that the pvp is boring that's why few people play the game and of course then that It makes the matchmaking bad and of course what suffers from it is the players and all this started because of bad updates and not thinking about these things, as you can see that they don't barely play, their game is absurd, the solution in my way of seeing it is that the cc cannot be more than 1 second and some even less than that and remove cc if a specialization has a lot of cc then remove some or there is no solution and also level the damage, you hit against 5 in teamfight and of those 5 they can hit 25 skills of those 25 20 DO YOU GET A MINIMUM OF 6K what to avoid and what not? Anything now can be killed in 2 hits, I don't know if I want something like that, I'm going to go to a shooter game, it's not supposed to be an mmogp, it should be more, I don't know, more fun, this aspect is more strategic, but they give us time to think and not Let's keep our eyes on the screen, ugh, well, I'm a little upset, even though I'm very sad about the path the game is taking. Everyone who visits Guild Wars 2, big content creators, says that pvp is abandoned by the developers.

I mean ....... at first you are right but at second there are many classes with superspeed/stability/Ports/brakestuns..... imagine fighting as a melee class without CC gg have fun xD (while not having Ports,superspeed available to yourself of course)

I agree with you, but we are talking about having a couple of stability skills that can last 6 sec max and with coldawns of min 40 sec exaggerating a little and there are specializations with cc every 8 sec 12 sec

Im currently playing core rev with demon/cent, short bow 5 and axe 5. It is alot of CC but it has some serious limitations. At the start of any engagement, power burst and condi bomb specs have more than enough stability on demand. All the CC in the world means nothing for the first 10 seconds, yet the average high dps spec can solo kill something in under 5 seconds. Scale that upto a group fight and basically > spamm immunes/blocks/los abuse until enemy stability runs out >> spam mitigation CC >> hope something dies.

The amount of bs specs dropping 5 button condi bombs +akeem and boon convert relic has rendered clense support nion useless, and raw healing cannot keep up with condi bomb or power burst. Its no suprise that gaurdian is pretty much the only support used now, block spam, and team wide instant stability. Tempst support can't deal with this bs, if you setup to deal with condi, it comes at the direct loss of power burst defense, vice verser. Tempest was far stronger when it was just powr meta.

I was able to keep up with condi on rev up until the relics landed. But now with so many condi zerker, ranger, specter, scourge +akeem/boon convert.. its just too much. CC spam is pretty much all I find works now to support in group fights, if you can stay alive past the opening stability/block spam.

I didn't even read lol, use some space and paragraph next time, make an effort please cause this is a pain in the kitten to read actually.

Apparently, NcSoft is 'calling the shots' with all decision making and the direction of the game because they own Anet

I find that Baffling and Appauling!!

solution: make it less cc time every cc u get: 100% time 60% time 30% time, also git gud

Okay but he has to take more damage each consecutive time because he's still eating the hit and getting hit a lot isn't an excuse for getting hurt less.

Mes is the dagger of cc in a world where hammers exist. Not as to-the-point, but just as deadly if they know where to aim. Power block isn't a GM for no reason ❤️

Though to be honest I wouldn't call hammer warrior CC spam either, since it relies on people who know there's a hammer warrior nearby not doing anything about it (like kiting away or pressing a single stunbreak). But I'm willing to accept that label if it makes threads like this, it's so beautiful just LOOK at it

I am extremely happy that no other Gaming Companies has Anet Guild Wars 2 "Fun" in their game including upcoming new MMO Game. I hope The Community to have an open-mind to know this as well that, only in Guild Wars 2, this so call "Fun" exists. 

So rest assured 

Only in Guild Wars 2, this "Fun" exists and should stay 🤭

(by the way, why after years and years, traps left on the ground are still able to ouput high damages and one shot players?)

@Assolador.3598 i mean thats why mes could actually daze spam the heck out off ya even while your running with stability but also with Like 0 Animation telling (See you daze Mantra and F3 shatter) and i don't mentioned pistol offhand/shield 5/mirage Dodge Sword 3 yet ^^. I mean yes Warrior got many hard CCs (bullscharge/Hammer/Shield) gues most of them are high telegraphed but also doing 0 dmg. While most of mes Dazes are Not telegraphed and actually allowed to do dmg^^

In GW1 CCs exist to interupt.

In GW2 CCs exist to keep your foe inactive for a few seconds in order to create windows of opportunities.

I personally like GW1's philosophy on CCs more than I like GW2's. GW2's choice of design for CCs is something that games usually try to avoid.

every time i see people complain about CC being unfun i wonder if they actually play like, any other competitive games
my opponent being able to play the game is "unfun" because it means i might not win.

almost every mmo has hard CCs like stuns
even GW1 has them in the form of knock downs.
