Legendary skins?

If you change a legendary weapon skin with one character, does it also change its skin on other characters too?

I know that it's only one weapon that can be shared, and I just presume it does; but I'm not entirely sure.

Would be cool if we could; but can we?

No, skins are per-character, and via the wardrobe each character is technically using their own copy of the weapon. Edit: See below, it's even per equipment loadout

No it do not each legendary have its skin per character and you can skin it differently bettwen equipment loadouts on the same character even.
