Eloc Freidon.5692
All the music from SotO still has a much lower volume than the rest of the game. Now with this new setting you can immediately tell when swapping from Horn of Maguuma to any of the other ones. 1

TheNecrosanct.4028
You know you can adjust separate volume settings in the Options menu, right? Just turn everything but the music volume down a bit. "Problem" solved. 2
Kiki.9450
These responses suggest that every time we go away from a Horn of Maguuma zone that we should stop, open the options, fiddle with the music volume setting, then continue along our merry way. And then do it again when we decide to go to a Heart of Maguuma zone later. Or, better suggestion: the volume should be standardized for the music across the whole game (something Anet would control) so players don't need to stop, open the options, fiddle with the music volume setting, then continue along our merry way, if it so bothers them. 5 2 1
Kadsik.9281
I think all the expansion music is way too quiet. Only the core music is loud for me. Wish there was a fix.

Because I can't hear the music without increasing the volume, which would end up blasting my ears when I hear other music.

It's also even worse than this. Moving around Skywatch has both SotO and other content music. The first week I was changing the volume between areas in the first map. I've given up and just decided not to hear the SotO music anymore, even though I love the combat tracks.
DreamyAbaddon.3265
Yeah this game has some serious issues with music volume. They should increase it by a lot and let players turn down the music to adjust their liking. Instead, I have to max out the music volume and it's still too low compared to all other sounds in game.
