QOL Suggestions for Guilds

1). Leaders should have a different font color in guild chat. With so many of us having alts it can be difficult for members to know who is speaking. The same would be great for officers.

2). Could the recruit status only allow entrance into the guild hall, but NOT allow use of merchants, vault or storage access, or harvesting? So many join guilds but refuse to interact on any level. We call them stones. If we want to nudge them we could put them to recruit status and let them either quit or earn the access they lost.

3) More and more members are refusing to use Discord. We need a more robust email system to contact members. The current system only allows 5 emails be sent . Then it goes into cool down.

4). Please raise the limit to more than 5 members at a time in the guild hall before opening a new map.

Wish list:

Rep percentage settings. If they fall under a preset rep percentage they lose access to the guild hall. I realize this could be tricky to implement, but the ability to join 5 guild max was not a good idea. There is no motivation to join and participate in a guild. This is an MMORPG not an MMOFPS. LOL

Okay, 1 and 4 are kinda useful, but everything else is just... elitist, for lack of a better word

you want people in your guild, but you don't want them to have acceess to any of the benefits of being in the guild UNLESS they abide by your rules.
how about not inviting random people into your guilds, and instead invite people you're friends with, or play regular content with.

1. I'd love to see the option to change colors in chat.  For guild chat, ok.  For a commander in a squad, it would be useful.  

2. "We call them stones"...that's ..encouraging.  Maybe showing them all the advantages of having a guild hall and a guild would make them more interested.  I do guided tours for new players who aren't familiar with the perks if they have questions.  If you're worried about participation, why not explain that upfront about your guild requirements.  It may not fit for everyone's lifestyle and work or educational real life needs.  

3.  Not everyone wants to join social media to communicate.  Some people spend all day talking to people in a job and the last thing they want is to listen or chat with people.   There is a joy to being able to just focus on what's on the screen or listen to music and not someone jabbering.  I understand it makes some guild events, like raids, much easier to coordinate.  But for the vast majority of things in game, it is not required.  

4.  Ok, fair enough.  

People are flaky even in one guild.   You will have a handful of dedicated guildies, the others are just enjoying their thing.  OP, most GW2 players are not that intense.
