dimiran.7921 Posted November 14 Share Posted November 14 Hi. I will go straight to the point. My post is focused on PvE, since I barely touch PvP or WvW nowadays. Out of all dps specs only tempest relies on giving auras to allies (Tempestuous Aria), and the only trait that synergises with it is locked behind support-oriented water traitline. So, why don’t you move it to Tempest traitline, since it also works for Heal Alac Tempest (vigor and regeneration on ally with aura)? This would enable more access to TA buff AND give more freedom to play with different utilities and weapons. I know this would also mean no aurashare for other elite specs, but do those specs really need it? Weaver has no interaction with auras whatsoever and catalyst doesn’t need giving auras to allies for its spec-specific buff. I use it for condition heavy fights on my quick Cata to spam group-wide cleanse with Smothering Auras, and in WvW with staff for group-wide projectile hate. If it were moved to Tempest… what would it replace and what would take its place in water? And how would this affect builds? Did you think about the consequences of this sort of change at all? What about all non-tempest eles? Element-type auras are a speciality of elementalists, not only tempests. crosknight.3041 Posted November 16 Share Posted November 16 personally i think heal aura from tempest should be moved to water line, and aura share should be moved to arcane line. this change would make heal cata pretty viable. plus the whole healing aura thing makes up for a substantial lack of supportive utility skills across the entire profession.
