Is it true that anet took away no down state event for wvw?

Took away how? The last no downstate event ended. There hasn’t been any new events. Anet can’t even fix the missing cornerstone on DBL that’s been bugged for 7+ years while at the same time claiming WvW is a cornerstone of GW2.

It's only ever been a temporary event. They might do another one at some point, but it was always supposed to end and if it comes back it will almost certainly be temporary again.

2018, 2019 and 2020 and nothing since then.

I miss it too, or at least a gg button or something to stop wasting time in downstate with no hope anyway.

Just to be clear, I know it's supposed to end. But there hasn't been one for a very long time. It feels like wvw isn't getting attention, which is understandable since it isn't as popular as pve. However, no downed state was very fun. It would be nice if it was a monthly event. Heck, I'd enjoy if it was annual.
