Greater and Lesser Arcane Chests Inner Nayos not dropping map currency Calcified Gasps

Anet, thanks for fixing the Greater Arcane chests in Amnytas and Inner Nayos being interactable. The greater and lesser arcane chests in Skywatch Archipelago and Amnytas also drop their respective map currencies (Static charge and Pinches of stardus), however these chests in Inner Nayos do not drop any Calcified Gasps. Could you add this to the loot table as well, just like the first 2 maps of Soto?

I mentioned this in a different thread first day of release I think.  Maybe they aren't giving map currency because we are able to get considerably more gasps from orbs.  In skywatch it's around 100 a day.  I noticed in nayos it's over 250 a day  before they are capped.  I really don't know the reason.  Just guessing.

the map isn't finished yet, so chances are they chests are going to drop the currency later, or drop a different currency

Since when do Arcane Chests drop map currency? As far as I am aware, they never did in Skywatch and Amnytas, either.

They've always dropped a good amount of map currency in Skywatch and Amnytas.

I also did not remember them dropping currency in the other 2 maps - would have farmed them a bit more then. Cause the currency is pretty slow to gather up. (Basically forcing you to play the meta.) Wiki really seems to list it though. But a big span and possible to get the small amounts often - maybe I did not notice it because of this. (If you only get 2 and at the right side of the screen also the other small trash items pop up it might be hard to notice.)

For the Inner Nayos probably the event density and frequency is high enough to just farm a ton out of the events. Also the orbs/bubbles when flying with the Skyscale ... give a good amount and are easier accessed than in the other maps. I feel like gathering the currency there a lot faster.

I had no idea if they did, but on yesterdays Mukluk's stream he said he has alts parked on static chest on both of the maps, so by harvesting it daily he has by now alot of those currencies. Which implies they do drop map currencies for those two maps.

To be fair, the Skywatch and Amnytas chests were only patched to give map currency in mid September.  From release, Stardust has been easy to collect (uncapped by gathering magic orbs from turrets, then mapwide), static less so, but a quick tour of all Skywatch large chests daily does help.

Thanks. I was wondering when that change got implemented. I could have sworn the chests didn't give currency early on.

Were they? Oh, I thought they always did. My bad.

why do the greater arcane chests push and cc ppl if they make a mistake?! wth

i missed 3 numbers when trying to open a greater arcane chest, it pushed me off the ledge and DIED like a noob. what kind of design is this lol

Maybe this will help with the numbers:  I hit F and get my left ring/middle/index fingers on 2-3-4.  Then watch the numbers light up in the hotbar.  2-3-4 lights up?  Depress that finger.  1 lights up?  Twitch the ring finger over to the 1.  5?  Twitch the index finger to the 5.  The middle finger stays on the 3 and I can visually note if what I need to press is on that finger or 1 or 2 away from it.  Generally if I miss a number it's the first one while getting my hand in position and the rest go by smoothly and easily.

As to the topic, yes, it would be very nice to get gasps from the chests if it turns out they are needed for the legendary collection process.

I imagine it's because it's not the full map. Plus, the full map will likely have more chests. They are being very insistent on making sure we don't have a fully featured partial map.
