Personal rating and how it works

For starters, I'm not a bad PvP player, I've been playing since release. I used to play for Platinum and even moved to Legend. Now I'm qualifying and I'm being given gold. For real?
I wouldn't have created this theme if my game had changed. I play the same way I used to. But that's not even the point. Developers, you have created a personal rating, I even attach a screenshot with a description. Then please tell me, why does my personal rating depend on how my team played? I take top stats in almost every fight, but if we lose, even by a small margin, they take away -18 points of personal rating from me. And when my team wins, although I can also get top stats, I only get +14 points! You're giving less and taking more all the time.
There is no reward for your personal play. My personal rating should depend only on me.

Message to the developers: Please see the personal rating system, it shouldn't work like this. Any useful actions in battle should be encouraged. Conversely, punish passivity.

Yes they used an algorithm made for an indvidual to compete against an individual (chess) or a fixed team to compete against other fix teams.... and thought it would be a bright idea to apply it to totally volatile teams that change every match... but yet hold the results accountable to you as if you were solely responsible for the outcome.  I just don't know how a programmer comes up with that idea and doesn't see the gigantic flaw.

How much you gain or lose at the end of the match depends entirely on your effective rating compared to the rating of the enemy and your team

in other words completely RNG

Should have been based on personal contribution from the start

It's a team game, not a solo game, u're getting top stats, ok, but if u're not able to win, it doesn't matter.

Okay, then what does my personal rating have to do with it? Have you read my message carefully? I even emphasized it.
