Aviart.7963 Posted March 26 Share Posted March 26 So I forgot to open the chest from last weeks weekly vault, which really annoyed me at first, but ok it happened and I set a reminder so I hopefully won't forget again. Interstingly though my AA went up from 1030 to 1300, which is the cap at the moment and the items from the chest ended up in my inventory, this happened with the weekly vault reset. But what happened next is the actual strange thing and possibly a bug - when I finished 6 out of 6 chest from this weeks Weekly Vault it showed me an already opened chest instead and I did not get any rewards out of it - not the AA and not the items. So I contacted support and they tell me their records show that everything is fine as my chest was opened that day. Well yes it was opened but not by me and not for the current week. I contacted them again and asked to look at the time stamps when it was opened, if it was at reset or after I finished the weekly tasks for the current week and they came back to me saying that if I did not open last weeks chest all the progress was lost, which is what you might expect would happen, but that is not what happened to me as stated above. This raises a lot of questions for me, like why did last weeks chest open itself, if that is not intended and could this be the reason why this weeks chest bugged out - cause it's not designed to open twice in the same week? Thus, it seems, WAI. Exactly what I thought would happen, so why is support telling me that it is not working that way. Manasa Devi.7958 Posted March 26 Share Posted March 26 If they log exact timestamps for the opening of individual task chests they might be able to see that you opened the weekly chest before you opened any of the individual task chests, which should be impossible and would prove your story. Healix.5819 Posted March 27 Share Posted March 27 I tested this with the daily a few weeks ago. If you leave the chest unclaimed, it will automatically claim the current chest when you load a character after it resets. If you were already on a character when it resets, the previous chest is simply lost without affecting the current one. When I tested this back when it originally came out, it properly claimed the previous rewards at reset if you were on a character, or after loading a character, without affecting the current rewards. It looks like the current weekly chest opened exactly at reset time, which should not be possible before at least 6 weekly tasks have been done, right? So support was right that I got the weekly rewards, but they can't possibly be from the current week.
