I also think that icons might be the better solution, as color-coding is already used for class and boss mechanics.
evilcat.6817
With story missions, especially expansion could you make that each reward item would be account bound, soulbind on use. And also each reward will be 1time per character. Generally my main character very soon is gear up, so rewards are nevery useful fot it, however alts could benefit, i just need to transfer it. The other part is that initially item could seem useless, but in future i can have another character with build which would use that item (lets say hammers). So it would be nice if i can run again story with different character to get all the rewards. 1

Zepiuz.6713
Why would you implement such a permanent unchangeable visual effect on any class? I heard the berserkers have a red glow on their hands and a lot of people are hating that as well. Instead please give us an option to toggle it off. That way it would be 1 less thing to render for your game, and 1 less eyesore for people who doesn't like it, and those who like it can toggle it on. Win - Win - Win situation for all. 2
Chaba.5410
I'm gonna assume you don't play any pvp style game mode at all where skill usages and states get communicated via visual effects and animations. It would break the game if removed. Imagine not being able to see what a strike boss was casting. Engineers used to have "hobo sacks" so opponents could tell which kits they were in. It got changed eventually to what was being held in the characters hands. /shrug Edited October 29, 2023 by Chaba.5410 1 3

Are you telling me you look at the tiny little particle effect on a player's wrists to tell which attunement or legend a player is currently channeling in the middle of a PvP match Also OP suggested it as an optional toggle - obviously standard models in competitive modes would always have it on if you somehow do actually want to use such a tiny visual effect to get information from your opponents Edited October 30, 2023 by Shaman.2034 1 1

Nothing more. If it's such a tiny effect hard to see, as you suggest, how is it ruining someone's look then? He zooming in to admire himself constantly or something? Zepiuz.6713
It is hard to see in combat, unnoticeable even. I however like to stand in town and anywhere else where the view is good (pretty much everywhere in-game) and admire my character from a close up view (and take pictures) which motivates me to play the game more, and everything is perfect except for the unmatching glowy hand color. Also a side note: This game earns a lot because of Convenience, and, FASHION. So please let people be as fashionable as they want without these unchangeable visual effects. DemonAtTheWheel.1804
If your only concern is taking screen shots of your toon all over the world like some narcissistic insta influencer, there is already a "fix" for you.... use the build templates to spec out an alternate build of your toon with the same gear and dyes, but using a different base skill set "like core warrior" instead of "berserker"..... then switch to that build to take your screenshot, then back to your normal build while actually playing. Yes, I know it is not the same thing, but it will get you basically what you want without waiting to see if the devs ever incorporate your request 1
TorroxMorrox.4012
Please remove the limit of Build and Equipment Templates, you will make more money and players like me can play more builds without relying on third party tools 2

DeanBB.4268
I believe it also doesn't show in the guild vault. You'd think turning it on for inventory would make it universal.
Dayra.7405
If you equip a legendary weapon, replacing another legendary weapon you had equiped, the new equiped weapon should take over stats, sigils and infusions from the unequiped weapon and not be unconfigured. Equiping lower quality weapons replacing legendary weapons via double-click in the inventory should be (optionally) disabled. Alternatively every legendary weapon should remember it's last configuration (even better: per build slot). evilcat.6817
WvW repetable Fractal reward track. Getting all you need for full ascended set so you can run a higher fractals could be a grind, so at least give second option for grind. 20k points in wvw is grindy on its own. And if all we miss is more ascended so be it. Most important is ascended weapon and armour piece. But mats for crating are also good. Could be keys. 1
Trigarta.3841
Hi, can we please get a Guildbank NPC in the Wizards Tower? Arborstone has one and even a Laurel Merchant. Would be nice to have those in the Wizards Tower, too. 2
Zappax.4685
Add proper drops for supreme rune of holding. Getting a bag from 20 slots to 32 has a cost of around 342 gold FOR THE RUNES ALONE. This is ridiculous. For reference, that gold is enough to buy gems and buy 2 bag slot expansions, and you'll still have about 14 gold left, and that's excluding the other savings from not crafting the bag. 1 1

You can earn shards in WvW progression, the higher tier you reach in each "season" the more you get. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Grandmaster_Mark_Shard These can be used to buy Grandmaster Marks, which in turn can be used to buy ascended gear, both in WvW and PVP, and even at the fractal traders. 1 1

Yeah.... blame the EU for that..... and Anet for not fixing it. Basically, the EU passed a low about gambling, partially as a result of like Lootcrate type services, but in effect it also attacked in-game "games of chance" in any instance where real world money could be somehow converted into playing that game of chance. Since one could technically use real world money to buy gems, convert that into gold, use the gold to buy ecto, then use the ecto to "gamble" on the hands of Sandstorm (game from casino in Crystal Desert)..... which is the ONLY way to get the Supreme Rune of Holding..... We players got effected by that damned EU law. As a result, Anet put a "20 per day" limit on the number of rounds you can play in the Sandstorm game.... this caused the rune price to go from about 8g to 22g within a week (announced in game update at the start of May 2023). It has some what gone down since then.... but still more than double what it was in April, and close to triple what it was a year ago. To correct the issue, Anet needs to either make the runes drop much more often while keeping the 20 hands per day limit..... or they need to provide some other method in the game to get the runes which is not time gated via the anti-gambling laws of the EU.

The 20 per day limit doesn't really defend the fact that to get the material to craft, you have to use gambling which each hand with a proper chance costs around 160 gold... The EU has nothing to do with this, and actually sounds like a schizopost. Sure the limit may affect it but bottom line is, you reduced the cost to only one bag expansion, instead of 2, for an upgrade thats less than a bag expansion's price. 1
Zappax.4685
And before you mention sure it costs 160g to try the hand, it can also return ~200g, yes, but more often it will just net you a ~120g loss. 1
BigDaddyDragon.8365
whoever was selling them at 8g was well not very well informed. A greater cost 2g and a superior cost 10g from the merchant. Why wouldn't an expensive to get rare drop cost a lot more. Supreme is currently at basically 19g and that seems reasonable. I do agree with you that the cost of the 24, 28, and 32 slot bags are too costly for what you are actually getting. This could be solved by just reducing the number of runes you need for each bag.

Sure the limit may affect it but bottom line is, you reduced the cost to only one bag expansion, instead of 2, for an upgrade thats less than a bag expansion's price. The EU was the cause.... whether you want to accept/believe it or not. Anet does not dictate the cost of Supreme Runes on the TP. The basic rules of supply and demand do. Before the EU law went into effect, there was either far more people doing the gambling regularly, or some players playing massively more hands on a regular basis.... resulting in more Supreme runes being awarded to the gamblers, who then sold them on the TP. They have been as low as 5g5s back in May 2018, but from around December 2019 till May 2023, they were mostly in the 8g to 10g range.... according to the GW2 efficiently tracking of the material. Once the limit to 20 rounds of Sandstorm per day per account went into effect, the prices have been about 16g to 22g each. A direct result of lower supply. At the low point, that would have cost you 90g for the runes, plus 20g for the two 20 slot bags (for all except the Boreal which would have been 70g for runes).... Note that these are akin to legendary items.... for people who have already maxed out the number of bags and still want more space. As a result, they are naturally going to be more expensive than a bag slot expansion. 32 slot bags were never intended to replace bag slot expansions.... something Anet makes money off of directly from people buying gems to get more space. 1

I do agree with you that the cost of the 24, 28, and 32 slot bags are too costly for what you are actually getting. This could be solved by just reducing the number of runes you need for each bag. when you do the basic math, the 5-ish gold per rune makes sense.... the 19g price each does not. It takes a single Greater Rune of Holding (at 2g) to make an 18 slot bag, and a single Superior Rune of Holding (at 10g) to make a 20 slot bag. So, obviously there is a significant "diminishing returns" baked in by default for the 18 to 20 slot bags. To make a 24 slot bag (all but the Boreal) it costs 1 Supreme Rune of Holding (which was 5g, now 19g) plus two 20 slot bags, and 2g worth of Deldrimor threads, and having to run a puzzle to get the recipe. That was like 27g, now about 42g A 28 slot bag needs the 24 slot bag, plus 5 runes and 2g more in threads. This upgrade from 24 was an additional 27g, now suddenly 97g A 32 slot bag needs the 28 slot bag plus 12 more runes and 2g more threads. This upgrade from 28 was an additional 62g, now a whopping 230g If making a 32 slot bag cost a single rune, as the 18 and 20 slots do.... then a 20g or even 40g rune makes perfect sense. However, since a 32 slot bag requires 18 runes, the price per rune being 19g is real hard to swallow for most.
