Strength/Arms Needs Another Pass (pvp/wvw)

Strength got some love finally but it still feels lackluster to everything Defense provides. Defense can give adrenaline, health regen, and condi removal with extra damage all in one trait line.

Strength has some staying power now but needs more to compete. Making the Greatsword trait give might on crits baseline regardless of having a Greatsword would help. That same trait could give extra adrenaline (say 3-4 adrenaline) for every 5 stacks of might generated. Also simply giving another small buff to Might Makes Right. Going to about 106-107 hp per stack of might sounds like a gentle enough nudge to make it viable without it getting too strong. Adding something to minor trait that removes non damaging condi's for every 3 stacks of might is another idea.

These small buffs would help Strength stay competitive against Defense.

Arms needs even more work. There's no sustain, no cleanse, only damage and adrenaline and condi. Giving the Signets traits here a buff so that they're usable and competitive would be a start. Something like Signets could have their passives maintained during cds, and the signet passives and actives are very slightly better (200 Toughness instead of 180 for Dolyak with slightly better heal on active, 66% endurance regen instead of 50% for Stamina and grants 3 seconds of vigor on active, slightly better adrenaline generation and 5 stacks of might on active for signet of Rage, etc.). This would help entice people to consider using Arms with Signets for varying builds.

Opportunist needs a buff. Something like Imob duration going up by 25%-50%. Just something that makes the trait stand out as interesting.

Sundering Burst needs more love. Adding Vulnerability on critical hits wouldn't be too crazy in my opinion.

Dual Wielding needs a buff. Adding something like "Any Quickness you apply has it's duration increased by 25%. Quickness increases Attack Speed by an additional 10%."

Furious- Increase Furious Surge from 10 per stack to 13. This will help with the more aggressive condi builds.

The last two are more powerful buffs because of them being GM traits. You could also move the Signet trait to a Master if it looked out of place.

Think it's kinda weird War doesn't have a trait to keep signet effects while they're on CD, but I'm relatively certain that would have been super busted back in the day when Healing Signet was really good and it's never been considered since even though the entire Arms tree is a big oudated mishmash of power, condi, and CC based traits

whats funny is that now they are going to make every single trait and utility adrenaline gen

may as well actually fix adrenaline system.

You could remove Adrenalin entirely and warrior would still be perfectly balanced.

You can even leave Decapitate as is.

It being basically an auto hit would not even be OP in pve. Given how high the new dps benchmarks are.

God I just want this reverted to the pre November 28, 2023 patch state. This minor trait is so difficult to work around without fast hands.

Doesn't every other profession have a trait just for this functionality or is that only for Elementalists?

Guard, Ele, Mech all do.

War, Teef, Ranger, Mes and Necro's traits do something else.

Thats right, Warriors get ferocity for a bit based on signets used. Also gets unblockable attacks attacking peeps under 50% hp.
Just wish signets were all instant casts.

Scrap Adrenaline, make Bursts use the Ammo system, but all ammo is spent upon use, like Pistol 5. You get the tiered effects based on the amount of adrenaline used. All the Adrenaline gain traits/skills recharge 1-3 of the ammo charges, some with new CDs as appropriate. Hell if I know how to fix BSW after that, but it needs a complete overhaul anyway.
