WingSwipe.3084
What are people expecting for the patch? Hopes and doubts? Im eagerly awaiting SPB getting stomped but am worried that core traitlines are going down along with it. Staff might get more healing loaded on to the healing stat and base healing gets reduced. 1
Jzaku.9765
Absolutely nothing but the spear updates for all classes. Emergency balance patch for the broken ones 1 month later. Actual balance patch in 3 months with a million Ele and Ranger changes. See you next expansion. 1 1
Zekent.3652
Going full doom on this one: No balance patch, ranger will break the game and we will still see people abusing bunker spellbreaker, having terrible mirrors for warriors that just want to play any other build outside of defense. Not a single QoL outside of spear. I hope i'm wrong 💀

Lan Deathrider.5910
I expect spear updates, some sort of spellbeaker nerf in pvp, and another power berserker nerf in pvp, and another scorching earth nerf in WvW.
Dadnir.5038
I don't expect anything much until the usual balance patch that happen in october.
Geoff Fey.1035
Overperformance in PvP/WvW resulting in nerfs, including traits that weren't even being used, across multiple traitlines, which will include PvE nerfs as well. Underperformance in all modes being ignored for 3-6 months, a blog or forum post noting how Warrior requires rework and that it's being looked into, new patch resulting in 3-10 inconsequential changes (likely to the most unused traits), an ICD or CD increase. Azure The Heartless.3261
I don't expect anything beyond what we've seen. I'm waiting to see if there's any surprise balancing with Janthir before I make any lengthy opinions, since their feedback posts indicated they may be aware of pain points. Id love to have only grievance relics to mention tomorrow.
Dean Calaway.9718
I expect a melt down with all the homestead doors in world, people will complain but Anet won't do a thing because the idea is to sell door skins when they should be focused on selling different themed instances for the homestead. Spears are gonna be on the OP side, because let's face it, it's a selling point, the PvP/WvW community is gonna break new records on the amount of threads asking for nerfs. People are gonna exhaust both maps in the first day, specially the first without a meta event, but it's ok, because they'll have a home to build, and people that are eagerly waiting for the Raid will just have to keep drumming their fingers till November. An assortment of new and exciting bugs features likely surrounding the new build tools, but who knows, maybe we'll get some One Shot Weavers... again.
