So I know that the wielded skins changes dpeending on whether you have the meteor glove/infusion equipped. But Ive had the glow when stowed on occassion too. Is there something that causes that? It's rather plain when when stowed

So if I add the meteor glove and mount up, itll add the basic glow to the stowed version until I use the weapon, at which point itll remove any glow when stowed - another bug like the vanishing dragon sword flames?.

Non-meteor glove still has no glow when stowed. I assume that is correct

AFAIK, you do not need to have the glove skin equipped, only the infusion.

I kinda like the design of the gloves, not too bulky open fingers kind. AFAIK, the gentle glow will stay only when you mounted up or dismount. Otherwise, if you do a physical stow or when it auto stowed after skills used, it will not light up when stowed away.

Hmm, that does sound unintended. I have not used the spear yet, it only fits one of my characters' theme.

Didn't the wiki (at least when I checked days ago) mention that it is either the infusion OR the gloves (skin is enough) - I use other gloves on my main so I like to have the first free infusion there. Other chars might just use another spear (since I also have unlocked the gen 1 legendary one) skin. Unless the skin of the gloves fit. Don't really need to buy more of the infusion.

You could try to gest. Only tested with the infusion I think. When unequipping/equipping it takes a bit of time (maybe like 2 seconds) but then the visuals change. And I think only if the weapon is wielded - not stowed (there no extra visuals if I remember correctly).

Not sure about the "basic glow" did not pay attention to that much. But it would really be weird if mounting up changed the behaviour ot showed more glow when mounted. Makes sense to have a weapon a bit "inactive" when not wielded - not having glow at all. Especially when that glow is supposed to come from the hand gear item.

The wiki mentions it yes, but it isn't the topic here

This is about the stowing of the item, which removes the glow entirely except in certain circumstances - like when mounted with the glove. But not when just having the glove (or infusion, it doesn't matter) and being unmounted.

What I'm looking for is a way to keep either of the two glow skins when stowed. It looks odd without even the basic skin when stowed
