STOP FORCEFEEDING US PUSH!

Make Push optional mode and NOT mandatory. The mode kittening sucks and you never know if you're winning or not. I'm a pvp player but this kitten is disgusting. Just lost a game where I had 27 kills and 3 deaths because people don't kittening know how to play and what to do. I'm a platinum player and I can't stand this mode. No kittening way I'm willing to play ONLY this mode to get platinum. Get your kittening kitten together and keep that garbage in unranked modes.

To be fair Anet did say that it's a mode where competitive Conquest players can go to blow off steam and that it wasn't meant to replace Ranked Queue.

I think it's going to enter as an Unranked only gamemode. I really hope there's at least 1 weekly tournament of it though, that would be fun.

That would defeat the whole purpose, they said they wanted a ranked map that was more casual than conquest.....unraked is basically the recycle bin, where they throw failed projects like stronghold. Whole point of this, is to put it in ranked. Conquest for 12 years gets old for more mmo players.....

My honest and brief opinion. The new Push map and its mechanics are fundamentally dumb. This can't be changed unless going back to the drawing board. It certainly can be made less buggy, a little bit improved on some aspects but you will still end up with messy pasta sauce style team fights being the thing to do on the map and why you would queue for.

When you think of GW1, the ambition for a competitive PvP game mode in an MMO and what was designed initially for GW2 at the start and what we are getting today... it's clearly not the same crowd which is being catered. It is what it is, PVP competitiveness has been completely obliterated from the game because Anet has no longer talented team to work on this area since a long time.

Tis' not casual then.  

I think from the stream they said it would only replace conquest if it had more interest, otherwise seems to be another 'off season' game mode.  Which means you'd see it a couple weeks out of the year.  Guess we'll find out with how many resources they stick behind it, so far it is bottom of the barrel effort.

Its not "bottom of the barrel  effort", they specifically said its an idea.. they didn't want to spend hours of resources getting it 70% of the way and find out its hated, like stronghold.. so its bare basic idea that they'll expand on IF its liked.

 

Which I'm ha inf a blast, so I really hope its well liked over all
