Game Randomly Freezes

Since the last patch, the game randomly freezes on me. It lasts for several seconds, then unfreezes and continues to play as normal. While the interval of this is seemingly random, it sometimes happens several times in quick succession, making the game frustrating to play. We're talking a complete freeze; animations frozen, no sound effects, no music, nothing. The only thing that's changed recently, is the last patch. I really want to avoid having to uninstall and re-install.

Edit: I've tried running repair, but is almost immediately becomes unresponsive with no choice but to end process. 

Resolved: I figured it out, I think. I had to look up how to do it, because I forgot and haven't done it in years, but I cleared GW2's cache, and then ran 5 laps around Divinity's Reach as a test, and not a single freeze. So, here's to hoping. 😁
