Legendary Spear: Klobjarne Geirr Collection Issues!

Hello.. 
I'm starting the Legendary Spear: Klobjaren Geirr and when I first open the collection.. I noticed a lot items I did have ..didn't get checked off. So I went through hand drag to my bag to update most or right click to add to said collect. But the Gift of Battle is not working.. 😧. I have my mother with some of the same issues with said other collection parts as well. So no clue if its a bug due to it being patch day or things are acting funky but here to report in.

Split the stack since Gifts of Battle doesn't count as a Gift of Battle.

I did do that and it didn't work as well. I will try again tonight and see if it fixed.  Thanks for the suggestion! 🤗

splitting the stack to just 1 and it worked for me on that and the map completion items but the standing stones timepiece and bearkin warhelm are not unlocking for me

Ok equipping and soul binding the back unlocked that but not the helm

I have the same issue with Amalgamated Gemstone... I have tons of them but it wont unlock, does not matters if I slpit them of even if I get a new none. (UPDATE: the one I got from maguuma meta unlocked it)

Splitting worked for Gift of Battle; for some other items (back and the helm for example) I got them just by entering in Lowland Shore.

Gift of Battle and Essence of the Mists do not allow for retrospective addition to collection either.. meaning the only way is make another of each of these.. seriously not amused.

Was there actually any QA done on this stuff cos really this is just basic checks of a key addition to the game and there are so many items that either cant be added or if you split packs to get to add it the item then becomes account bound meaning it cant be traded if needed.

No clue on the testing part but it does feel a little rough this patch with a lot things being funky for sure.

did you try splitting the GoB to just one and putting it in your bags?   I alt dragged my stack from the bank and selected 1 for the split and that unlocked it for me.

Doesn't really solve your issue but if it's like the other legendary collection achievements it'll autocomplete once you bind the legendary to your account (even if it's still incomplete).

Sometimes it works if you right-click and bind the item to your account, even if the item is not account bound afterwards. 

Example: Glob of Ectoplasm did not register in the collection when I added it as 1 item to my bag from storage, but after I account bound it, it was added to the collection and I could still sell it at the TP.

I'm having this trouble with the sweet-treated pine plank. I only bought one, I acquired it after the update that added the collection. Nothing.

was not working for Gift of Expertise, but changing into janthir maps with the item on inventory does.

Hi hello, got the same issue. Anyone got the workaround/any word on how to fix it perhaps?  [Sweet-Treated Pine Plank] and [Neutralized Titan Alloy] don't seem to want to unlock for my collection. Tried depositing both items, then pulling them out 1 each, didn't work, tried the same with a 100x of both as you need that many for spear, then crafted the gift with them, still nothing. In the end i proceeded to complete the spear and bind it to my account, but  [Sweet-Treated Pine Plank] and [Neutralized Titan Alloy] still seem to not get checked off for achievement to get completed. Apart from opening a ticket i don't see a solution. All i know is GM's aren't allowed to progress achievements, so is it bugged till further notice, or?... Couldn't find any word on it myself whether Anet is aware of it/working on it is all.

 

Heh, i did the thing. Right clicked on one of the items, and both had the "Add item to the collection" option. that fixed the issue.
