trunks.5249
yes i know i have posted a lot of threads today. however this is important either i take this has a learning experience or i was right depending on what you guys say about this . i was called a retarded druid in a match because i did not do what this guy said. we had B other team had A and a teammate was trying to cap home but i thought he was taking way to long . so i decided to go home and help my teammate kill faster. however i was told to go to sky hammer but we were so far behind in points i thought since i have perm 33% speed it would be faster to just help kill the guy and run to B and recap it and let my teammate that i helped cap home. so my question is was i right or am i a retard in this situation? thank you for your advice in advance
Dawdler.8521
When joining PvP, you're always gonna be kitten in the eyes of others no matter the situation, because they are the best players in the world and if they fail it was your fault. So the answer to your question is yes. saerni.2584
Skyhammer, behind on points, hold mid, far is held by enemy and home is contested by 1 person? Where were the teammates? Was skyhammer being captured by opposing team? Where were the enemy players? Was decap on A not available? Who was left to hold mid? Last, what build/role we’re you running? Support? DPS? What was your team comp? What was enemy comp?

What was enemy comp?no they had one at A figured it would be faster to help teammate kill at home then solo the person at A the rest of my team and theirs were at sky hammer so they had a 3v3 going on at skyhammer. i think the guy thought i could kill afew with my traps in the fight at hammer normally that is the case however they had 2 necros. so odds are i would have died at hammer. with a small space and 2 necros its a pain
saerni.2584
Was either side winning at hammer? I take it the yelling had to do with your team not winning hammer and then their point A person decap on mid while you +1ed point C.If you had gone hammer then the point A person might have gone to help his team at point C or went to B to decap/fullcap. If you didn’t win quickly at hammer they would either hold A, with B and C likely decapped or A and B with your ally still struggling to win at C (assume in latter case A went to decap/fullcap mid when you went into hammer). Either way going hammer means your team continues to lose points even if you manage to take hammer. You could have also contested far to effectively guard mid. Assuming your point C ally won his fight you’d have taken 2 points while contesting another. Then he +1 you and you take triple cap. This assumes your team can hold even at hammer which is a gamble.I made a lot of assumptions and tried to think through a few possible rotations. Hope it helps.
