Hasnt rev been nerfed ever since release? I remember they nerfed precision strike way back then. But well i wasnt playing rev in the first three seasons where it was ridiculously op so idk ?

Ele had cele / soldier d/d, and tempest auramancer bunker. That's 2 builds. Though you might claim it's 3 even though only 1 amulet changed.

I never said rev was released in 2012? I never said ele had more than 2 meta builds?

And yes every meta since d/d was born. I was there. It stayed relevant all the way up to cele removal, then swapped to support Tempest after that. Meta for years.

IMo allmost all classes are in need to be redesigned the current design is carry player with damage(its a game made for dumbs pver's after all) if class cant do that its not worth it, teamwork in this game is very weak as well.Classes have no depth and classes to be considerated good need to carry the player with damage output.. very lame concept.

lol I agree with this, kind shows how bad powercreep affected the balance of the game...I wouldnt mind getting Rev in his full glory before he got hitted with non stop nerfs...dont think he would be more powerfull then PoF meta builds, and if he is, well who cares anyway, the game is allready full with cancer, add another one would do no harm.

The Revenant "class" should have just been pieces of other class specs. It's a disjointed mess on its own. It is easy to tell how it was made solely for expac hype rather than as a real class with a functional role (especially considering how it got replaced by a mere rune set in meta PvE once its herald boon duration passive was nerfed). At any rate, it's not like bloat hadn't reached a critical mass among the original profession line-up long before Revenant was even an idea. Rev's very existence only worsened GW2's biggest problem.
